Effective date: October 6, 2026
This policy explains what information Wondaland Arts (“we”) handles when you use Sequence: the Sequence app for Mac, the Sequence app for iPhone, and the listening service that connects them.
Sequence is a tool for finishing an album. The person making the album shares it, privately and by invitation, with the people they choose. Those people listen on their iPhone and leave notes.
Your account. You sign in with Apple (or, on the Mac, with Apple or Google). We receive an account identifier and the email address that Apple or Google gives us, which may be a private relay address if you chose to hide your email. We use them only to recognise you when you sign in.
Your name. We keep the name you listen under. It comes from your Apple sign-in, or you type it in, and you can change it in Settings. It is shown to the person who shared an album with you, beside your listening and on your notes.
What you listen to. When you play an album that was shared with you, we record which songs you played, which parts of them, when, and for how long. The person who shared the album can see this. It is there so they can tell which songs and moments are landing. Nobody else sees it.
Notes you leave. A note holds its text, the moment in the song it is pinned to, and your name. You choose whether it goes to the album's owner only or to everyone on the album.
Changes you make as an editing collaborator. If you were invited to edit, we keep the versions of songs you choose or make and the running orders you save, with your name, so that the album's owner and the other editing collaborators can see them.
Albums you publish. If you publish an album from Sequence on the Mac, we store its audio, artwork, titles, credits, running orders and, if you make them, stems, so that the people you invite can play it. Only you and the people you invite can reach it.
Invitation links. We keep which link you joined an album with, so its owner can see how a link was used and can switch it off.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, we keep a token that lets us send them to your phone, and which kinds you asked for. You can turn them off in Settings or in iPhone Settings at any time.
Sequence runs on Google Firebase (sign-in, database, file storage and hosting), which stores the information above on our behalf. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, delivers notifications, and distributes test versions through TestFlight. Each handles information under its own privacy terms.
Sequence is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top.
Using Sequence is also subject to our Terms of Use.
